IMPORTANT GEOLOGY CONCENTRATION CURRICULUM UPDATE for Academic Years 2024/5 & 2025/6 (2022-26 Catalog)
The normally planned sequence GEOL 301/303/305 for the 2025/6 academic year will not be offered in its entirety:
GEOL 301 and 303 will not be offered in Fall 205 25 and Winter 2026, respectively.
GEOL 305 in Spring 2026 will be offered in a modified form (and permission numbers for enrollment will be given).
To complete the Geology Concentration, the GEOL 301 / 303 courses can be substituted by any two of the following courses (take them anytime starting now!):
SS 431 Digital Soil Mapping (if choosing this course note that you cannot use it to also satisfy the highlighted part of the EESS Major Courses, i.e. you will need to take a different course, highlighted in yellow, from the list).
ERSC 442 Applied Environmental Groundwater Hydrology
ERSC 443 Applied Environmental Contaminant Transport
Please do not hesitate to contact/email John Jasbinsek with any questions.
